It’s not that serious, guys.
This is a personal blog. It is not a peer-reviewed journal. All content provided on this blog is for informational and entertainment purposes only. I make no representation as to the accuracy or completeness of any information on this site or found by following any link on this site. I will not be liable for any errors or omissions in this information nor for the availability of this information. I will not be liable for any losses, injuries, or damages from the display or use of this information. You’re here for fun, it’s not that serious.
It’s not about you. It’s not about them.
Any views or opinions represented in this blog are personal and belong solely to me and do not represent those of people, institutions or organizations that I may or may not be associated with in professional or personal capacity, unless explicitly stated.
To be clear: This blog does not represent the thoughts, intentions, plans or strategies of my employer. It would be distinctly unwise – not to mention uncharitable – to play connect-the-dots with my physical life and work and my “life of the mind,” as scanty as either might be. My attitude at work, my reaction to ideas, the length and tone of my discussion at the water cooler, the time it took for me to return your letter or email, and the quality and quantity of my response to you in any medium are probably not tied to anything you read here… at least not in a way that you will be able to confidently assume without sharing years of psychotherapy and the bills that come with it.
I’m human.
My thoughts and opinions change from time to time. I consider this a necessary consequence of having an open mind. I don’t make any promises, but you just might enjoy the roller coaster.
Help me, I’m poor.
Occasionally I will be sent an item by a company for the purposes of reviewing it. I am never paid for a positive review, and will always be honest in my reviews. I will always let you know when a company has sent me something – primarily because the FTC makes me.
I may be an affiliate for products or companies I recommend on this blog. If you purchase items through my links, I may receive a commission off of that purchase. You will not pay more money using that link, and I will not receive your financial information. That would be rude. Using my links allows me to keep this blog running, and it supports my very real, very irrational coffee-free Starbucks addiction. Thank you in advance for your support.
I also use advertising programs, like Google Adsense. I do not control the content of the advertisements or the conduct of the third parties whose content is being advertised by Google or others. I just am not that fancy or important. If you do click on an ad and are taken to a third party website, please check that site’s privacy policy if you want to learn how your personal information is used by that site, including whether that site is tracking your behavior or clicks and whether that site is using cookies or other persistent identifiers.
I will only recommend products that I love and use myself, pinky promise.
Amazon made me say it.
